...and cornflowers, and me, and poplars
Персональная выставка Алексея Рябова "...И васильки, и я, и тополя" создана в рамках номадической арт-резиденции куратора Кати Исаевой основной задачей которой является исследование ее участниками Тимирязевского района, изучение урбанистического наследия городской среды, исследование процессов биологической жизни методами художественных практик, работа с местными сообществами, в том числе, с представителями нечеловеческой агентности — флорой и фауной.
Алексей Рябов в своем проекте вдохновляется уникальностью района, его исключительностью. Степень исключительности Тимирязевского района наглядно иллюстрируют географические карты, где почти половину территории района занимают зеленые пятна Лесной опытной дачи и опытных полей РГАУ-МСХА им К. А. Тимирязева, а еще четверть — сама территория Академии. Природная дикость и соответствующая обособленность Тимирязевки в пространстве мегаполиса способствует пониманию этого района как «другого места» или гетеротопии по Фуко. Природная обособленность обращает наше внимание к «невидимой инфраструктуре» района с возможностью по-новому увидеть многие его жизненные процессы, помыслить реальность, лишенную человеческой субъектности.
Художник в своем исследовании места больше ориентируется не на рациональное восприятие действительности, а на впечатления, создавая на их основе художественные образы. Кроме того, автор предлагает использовать подход "темной философии", чтобы через сакральность, через местную мифологию и ритуалы, городские легенды, демонстрацию «духа места», а точнее «духов места», наладить коммуникацию с «другими пространствами» и ее нечеловеческими акторами. Так, в привычный пейзаж Тимирязевки включаются элементы дополненной реальности, собранные из городских легенд, заметок в СМИ, снимков с камер наблюдения, планов прокладки инфраструктуры, природоведческих карт, рассказов экскурсоводов академии.
Такое интуитивное, эмоциональное исследование помогает расширить границы восприятия и взглянуть на многие явления в Тимирязевском районе с непривычных сторон.

Personal exhibition by Alexey Ryabov "... and cornflowers, and me, and poplars" was created within the framework of a nomadic art-residence curated by Katya Isaeva, whose main task is to study Timiryazevsky district by the art-residents, study the urban heritage of the urban environment, study the processes of biological life by methods of artistic practice cooperation with local communities, including representatives of non-human agency - flora and fauna.
Alexey Ryabov in his project has been inspired by the uniqueness of the area its exclusivity. The degree of exclusivity of Timiryazevsky district is clearly illustrated on the geographical maps, where almost half of the district's territory is occupied by green spots of the Lesnaya Experimental Dacha and experimental fields of the Russian State Agrarian Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev, and another quarter is the territory of the Academy itself. The natural wildness and the corresponding isolation of 'Timiryazevka' in the metropolitan space contributes to the understanding of this area as “other spaces” or heterotopia according to Foucault. Natural isolation draws our attention to the "invisible infrastructure" of the area with the opportunity to see in a new way many of its life processes, to think about a reality devoid of human subjectivity.
In his exploration of a place, the artist is more focused not on a rational perception of reality, but on impressions, creating artistic images on their basis. In addition, the author proposes to use the approach of "dark philosophy" in order to establish communication with "other spaces" and its inhuman actors through sacredness, through local mythology and rituals, urban legends, demonstrating the "spirit of the place", or rather the "spirits of the place". Thus, elements of augmented reality are included in the usual landscape of Timiryazevka, collected from urban legends, notes in the media, pictures from surveillance cameras, plans for laying infrastructure, natural maps, and stories of the Academy's guides.
Such an intuitive, emotional exploration helps to expand the boundaries of perception and look at many phenomena in the Timiryazevsky district from an unusual perspective.
